Lasting Memories

Our team looks forward to coming to Libby, MT each year for a great tournament hosted by Kelly Morford and the Libby Loggers. The tournament is always well run and a lot of fun. Beautiful Gehring Field is well maintained, and one of our favorite's to play at each year. The scenic backdrop is breathtaking and the wood grandstand sets the park apart from others. The town of Libby, MT is friendly and welcoming. Many of our players have made lasting memories from playing at Libby.

Professional Type Atmosphere

I have participated in 6 tournaments with Coach Morford and the Libby Logger Baseball program and they have all been excellent experiences for our players and our parents. Lee Gehring Field is an incredible facility and provides an almost professional type atmosphere. The grounds crew and support for between game prep is on point and the bounce back time for rain delays is as quick as any I’ve ever seen. As a program we alwayslook forward to going back to Libby and their great community.

Griffin Rod - Moscow High School

One of the most enjoyable baseball venues in the state

I have had the privilege of both playing and coaching at tihe Libby Logger's Field and can definitely say it is one of the most enjoyable baseball venues in the state. They take great pride in both their playing surface and their facility. I was very impressed with the work their field crew did this past season during rainy weather at their annual tournament. Kelly Morford, the Libby Logger team, the alumni, and the community would do an excellent job hosting a state tournament, and it would provide the participating teams a great chance to play on one of the gem fields of Montana Legion A Baseball.

Bjorn Swanson - Tri-County Cardinals

One of my favorite places to play throughout the Northwest

I brought my team from Lewiston, Idaho to play in Libby for several years while I coached American Legion baseball from 2001-2014. Having qualified for numerous state and regional tournaments, I would highly recommend this venue as a site for playoff baseball. The stadium and field are both unique and well taken care of. The staff and people of the town are first class and very professional and welcoming- just a great overall experience, year in and year out, for me and the teams and families that were fortunate enough to experience it; it remains one of my favorite places to play throughout the Northwest.
